Time for change

“Gardens are not made by singing 'oh how beautiful'
and sitting in the shade.”

— Rudyard Kipling.

I fear I have been sitting in the shade too long. The kitchen garden is a garden in waiting. The designs are done, and I just need to put my spade in the ground and start.

I hate showing works in progress but if you ever needed any reassurance that even the most beautiful gardens were once a tangle of bindweed and hope, then here is is.

A September tour of the kitchen garden; renamed by Kristy 'The Parterre'.
